Theology of Disability
At ADEMA, they are committed to offering biblical training for church, ministry leaders, people with disabilities and their family members. They desire to see vulnerable women integrated into every area of society, including the church, so they can grow spiritually and feel like valued members of their communities.
Be independent and productive members
ADEMA helps women to build strong skills with training in many different areas – sewing training, soap making, pastries, tailoring, basket making, fabric printing, business training,
saving programs, and more. Women with disabilities and victims of prostitution make and sell products, earning a living to support themselves and their families. After participating in the economic empowerment opportunities, vulnerable women become self-supporting, promoting dignity, and showing them that they are valuable members of their communities
Education for the next Generation
Carmel Mountain School (CMS) provides educational opportunities for children with disabilities, children born to women with disabilities and children born to the victims of prostitution in Makamba. These children are often used for begging, so ADEMA desires to see them empowered to make a positive change in their lives. The children are encouraged to attend school, with ADEMA paying their school fees, and providing uniforms as well as any required school materials needed for participation.
